Ken Blaisdell grew up in the small coastal-New England town of Rowley, Massachusetts, but has called Gilbert, Arizona home since the early 80’s.
Writing short stories since he was 10 or 11, Ken finished his first novel, The Weaver Conspiracy, in 2003.
A Kiss For Luck! is Ken’s fourth book to be published, following The Weaver Conspiracy, Katie: A novel of Autism, and The Wives of Logan’s Point. Since then, he has also published Freefall, Camelot, and Guardian.
Accuracy and detail are of paramount importance to Ken in his writing—as he believes they are to readers—so a great deal of his time and effort goes into research for each of his stories. One reviewer, after reading The Weaver Conspiracy, complimented the authenticity and detail in the book by saying that he found himself expecting to hear updates about the book’s characters and events on the evening news.
